Full rewire / new-builds - I offer a full rewire service for all domestic properties. This includes creative planning, design and installation, ensuring the installation will meet all your requirements.
Electrical alterations / installation – As a Certified Domestic Electrician I specialise in altering existing circuits. Perhaps you want an extra socket or light fitted with my quick, efficient service I strive to make the job as convenient and non-intrusive as possible.
Indoor/outdoor lighting - If you need a movement-sensitive security light or garden LEDs, I use the most up-to-date technology and systems to ensure your installation is safe and meets stringent regulations to British Standard 7671:2008
Fault finding – Having problems or concerned about your existing installation? As your local electrician I am available 24/7, 375 days a year and with my modern test equipment I will be able to find the fault and rectify any problems using extensive inspection and testing skills.
Burglar / fire alarms – Concerned about your security? I can install burglar and / or fire alarm systems, and with a hard-wired alarm system in place you know you are always protected as there are no batteries to change.
Fuse boards - Old or broken fuse board? The fuse board or consumer unit in your home is you primary protection against a fault in the electrical installation. As a domestic installer I can replace your old unit for a reasonable rate, in order to give you the protection only a modern board can bring and give you peace of mind. I will also check your earthing arrangement as in Cornwall many properties have old corroded rods that are giving very little protection against electric shock and need replacing.
Renewable energy systems – With the cost of energy supplies souring more and more people are having renewable energy sources installed. They will save you money in the long run and will help you to do your part for the environment. Please ask for more details.
PAT testing – Since the Electricians at Work Act 1989 your business, whether you are a sole trader or large office must have all electrical mains supplier appliances tested for electrical safety. I offer a quick, flexible service to avoid any inconvenience to your business.
Phone / television / computer networks – Do you need any telephone TV aerial sockets moved, or new ones installed? I can quickly and efficiently install extra sockets or entire new networks.
Cooker installation – Many cooker systems are not adequate for the job and need upgrading. As a cooker draws a large amount of power from your system it is imperative that it is installed correctly in order to not overload your system. As a domestic installer I can test your existing system and replace your cooker giving you peace of mind that it has been done to meet all safety requirements.
Bathroom electrics / lighting –Water and electricity are a notoriously dangerous combination. I provide a service to install low-voltage electricity systems in bathrooms ensuring your safety.
Hot tub / swimming pool electrics – Hot tubs, swimming pools, and all other external installations must meet very high safety requirements, to prevent external conditions damaging the electrics and making the installation unsafe. I have extensive experience in this field.
